Are you passionate about nurturing the youngest members of our community? Do you have a heart for service and a love for laughter, play, and Bible-centered growth? Zion Lutheran Church is looking for a vibrant, energetic, and caring Nursery Attendant to join our family!
At Zion, we are a community grounded in Word and Sacrament. We aren’t just looking for someone to “watch” children; we are looking for a teammate to help foster a secure, loving environment where our children (ages 0–6) can experience the joy of the Gospel.
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Creating Joy: Lead engaging play, read stories, facilitate crafts, and guide our little ones to the Children’s Sermon.
– Building Community: Greet families with a smile and partner with our awesome team of volunteers.
– Providing Care: Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing space where children feel valued and secure.
Who You Are:
– A committed Christian who believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
– A natural caregiver who is friendly, patient, and loves interacting with kids.
– Someone who can handle the “heavy lifting” (literally—we need someone who can lift 10–50 lbs) and the energetic pace of a room full of toddlers.
– Experienced in childcare or early childhood development (preferred).
– Ready to undergo standard background and drug screenings to ensure the safety of our flock.
