We are LCMC (Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ)
The proclamation of God’s message to us as both law and gospel is the Word of God, revealing judgment and mercy in the person and work of Jesus Christ through whom God was pleased to reconcile all things to himself. The God’s Spirit speaking through their authors, they record and announce God’s revelation centering in Jesus Christ. Through them God’s Spirit speaks to us to create and sustain Christian faith and fellowship for service in the world.
No Perfect People
The people in our congregation are like you—trying to find a means to keep life in balance. This is no easy task and we all realize that we cannot do life on our own but seek to receive the power and love that comes from the God we love. That’s why we set aside time every week to worship God and learn from Him and then offer back our thanks through song and praise. It is this special relationship with God that enables us to face life’s problems and bear them with his aid and the help of his people.
You don’t have to dress up. You don’t have to pretend your life is perfectly in order. You won’t be bored – but encouraged, challenged and taught how to connect with God. Our goal is to help people experience an intimate and loving relationship with Jesus. We want to help people find their way back to God. We believe He can be found by learning about Jesus Christ in the Bible. In this world, we all feel lost at one point or another, and so many things can get in the way of our walk with God. The good news is that Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost – people like us. Our church isn’t perfect, but we’re real, honest and serious about getting to know God.
