Child, Youth, and Family Coordinator
We are looking for a leader who loves the Lord, thrives in community, and is ready to pour into our youth while uniting our congregation through service. This is your chance to shape young lives, foster family discipleship, and be the fuel that keeps our church ministries energized and organized.
Why You’ll Love This Role:
- Be a Kingdom Builder: You won’t just be planning events; you’ll be guiding young people into a deeper, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ through our rich Lutheran tradition.
- Create Meaningful Experiences: From leading mission trips and youth outings to organizing community-shaping events like Trunk-or-Treat and holiday celebrations, you will have the creative freedom to grow programs that truly matter.
- Empower the Body of Christ: You’ll be the bridge that connects the passions of our congregation to the needs of our ministries, creating a culture of active, joyful service.
- A Supportive Community: You will work directly with our leadership team in a historic, sacramental community committed to the authority of Scripture and the Gospel.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Faithful Heart: A person who believes that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and holds firm to the truth of the Bible and the Lutheran Confessions.
- A Relationship Builder: You’re a natural communicator who can relate to everyone from our youngest Sunday school students to our dedicated church volunteers.
- Energized & Organized: You have the drive to build programs from the ground up, the administrative grit to handle logistics, and the charisma to get others excited about the mission.
- A Model of Faith: You are a person of integrity who can serve as a positive mentor and role model for our youth both on and off campus.
The Details:
This is a part-time (with full-time potential) position (24–30 hours/week) offering flexible, high-impact ministry work. Whether you are a seasoned veteran of youth ministry or a talented leader looking to transition into full-time Christian service, we want to hear from you.
